Oh rly ???

The V65 might be apart for the gas tank fix and paint around then... Not sure how long its gonna take but tearing it down this weekend to get it all started..

Get busy Garg!!..........We got a lot of riding to do this year!............:punk:................Tom.

This will be surprise to all of you knowing my crowded social calendar... But I am free on Sunday and If you can believe the long range forecast its supposed to be a better day then sunday. So baring rain (or ice) I'm in for Sunday... Or Saturday... Or both

Damn it was nice riding this afternoon. Gave me a chance to get rid of that expensive Gas I bought a while back and fill up with cheap Gas today. Should have washed the bike.

Hey everyone, with plans changing and undetermined weather, I, suggest we play it by ear and solidify things the Wed / Thurs before the ride. Looks like there will be quite a few of you planning on coming, and I would hate for you to make it to Lansing just to have it rain!!!! I am still working on the route, but construction season just opened around here and I'm looking for a MDOT cross reference...

That map link doesn't work for me, it just shows the route as a big square and the route isn't actually on any roads. Weird.

Me and Todd can make it on the 27th so lets keep it on the 27th............Mike

Steve hows a 10am meet time on the 27th work for you.

Sometimes I realy hate Google... Sorry guys but I'm stumped, just follow me, I sometimes know where I'm going....:rofl_200:

Rob,

How about we start on one side for my route and then you pick up like the route we ran when we left the Bluegill Grille:clapping:

Hey Everyone, I am going to change the oil this weekend, the old style canister type. Who has used Fram (my normal filter) and who has used K&M, for $5-$6 more...

Not sure which bike I will take. The Vmax is pissing fork oil from strapping the front end last year. The busa needs tires bad, though I might have that taken care of soon. Not sure. I am not sure if I want to ride the Turbo bike that far and I am not sure if my wife is coming or not.

Mike and I were talking about you a bit and wondering if you decided to do a little something to the '97 motor and then slip it in your bike. Of course the big problem there would be the trans on the '97 which Had some problems (according to the guy that wrecked it)

Hey Steve, both filters are good, I wouldn't think you would need to spend the extra coin on a K&N if you do regular oil changes, I recommend a good quality 20-50 motorcycle oil..........Just my opinion.............Tom.

After reading up on oil filters and oil viscosity I always use a K&N oil filter and because yumalube dont make 20w40 anymore i always use 10w40. The owners manual tells you to stick with 40. In the past i always used yumalube 10w40. after reading up on oil and talking with people i went with castrol power rs racing 4t full synthetic. I was always told not to use synthetic but if you read and talk with the people that know oil you will find that it is ok if its made for a wet clutch. (no molly). You can get a good racing oil for less money but i have always liked castrol. I have found if i use a K&N filter and keep my oil almost to the top of the sight glass my light never comes on. even when i wheelie. If my light comes on its not ok and thats how it should be. you can get kn303 if you want a black filter or kn303c if you want a chrome filter.

if you got the money motul oil is also good. I hope this helps you find the oil that is best for you steve. Tom has always used 20w50 in his bike and has had nothing go wrong but i feel under full out racing with 50 you could starve the engine................Just my opinion........................Mike
