When was the last time anybody had a fatbag? Unless the Potsdam Sergi's is way different than the Canton one, they're not all that big. It's like half a small pizza rolled over, but with more dough and less toppings. I'm sure it's still a highly concentrated calorie-bomb but really not that intimidating. I'm a college student, I know the local pizza places.

I can't believe some of you are riding hundreds of miles for a ho-hum calzone( I know, it's the ride not the destination but still) I guarantee there's a better calzone to be had somewhere between the UP and Canton. Sergi's pizza is always super greasy from the fake cheese they must use(there's a reason their cheese pizza is like $8) I certainly wouldn't want to ride for hours after eating one.


90% I should be in unless some big plans come up at home, but I doubt it.

If you want to go for a decent ride I can show you the "autobahn", about 30 min from Canton. If you want to see what your Max can do, that's the place. Smooth pavement, excellent visibility, and a 1.5 mile long downhill straightaway. The whole road is about 10 miles. With a bunch of bikes we can cover both ends(no intersections) watching for po-po's(though I have yet to see one there). Anyone interested?:rocket bike:

They want to return and see if the experience is still the same.......

It is with mixed feelings that I view this photo!! Absolutely, I can appreciate the awsome beauty but, damn'd if I can't catch just a whiff of chain saw gas!! :biglaugh:

We should be riding through right at 'peak foliage,' spectacular colors, bright sunny day, 65 - 75 degrees, surrounded by good buds on noisey v max's.....this is going to be a hell of a nice ride!!! :clapping:unk::clapping:

i had one when i was up for the fort drum rugby tourney last april.. i know its not the best pizza, but i've always thought its good. this all started b/c of fatbags, and i think we all know there's better places, but we've kind of got the ball rolling now ya know? no reason we can't do another ride to check out some different pizza later on.

Ya, I understand it's kind of established as "the place" to go and like I said it's the ride moreso than the destination.

It'll be the largest collection of Max's the north country has ever seen! w00t! I'll definetly try to make it for some v-boost powered merriment.

Though don't count on primo temperatures....Potsdam weather gets cool pretty quick. I'd plan for weather in the 60's. It might get a little chilly at Vmax speeds!:eusa_dance:

looks like since US customs only does exports on mon-fri, they willl do me a favor and let me get the paper work done on a sat :worthy:but has to be before 4pm so im hoping actually about 3 to 330 so kinda sucks will be time crunched but still should have enough time to meet up with the gang and wolf down a bunch of pizza. Think the ogdensburb boarder is close so shouldn't be hard to make it in time.unk:
