Came up dry on .22lr. I did score 3 boxes of 45 at 50 rounds a piece. I'll keep checking different places and let you know if I come up with any. Had i known .22lr was going to become a problem I would have picked them up last time I saw them.

Sorry :-/

All the gun companies love him; all the gun owners hate him. President Obama is the best thing that has happened to the gun industry in a long time. People who have no interest in owning guns, now are looking to buy. Gun shops can’t keep their shelves stocked they are selling out so fast. Gun companies are laughing on the way to the bank.

I have 6000 round lift over from target shooting. If need some hit me up.

Gun companies do love him but this has created tremendous problem for them. Many are close to being put out of business because of parts shortages. Not just the little companies either. Gun stores I frequent are also looking at the same situation in the end. The companies I shoot for are looking at "Prepping" for a time when they're no longer are able to build firearms. They are taking defensive postures just in case the Democrats Agenda can't be stopped. This fight has only just begun apparently. It now seems this is the first skirmish.

Here's some insight that kinda steals this thread but since it's active, I thought it was a good place for this. http://d1epq67751mrio.cloudfront.ne...yer.html?utm_medium=LiveVideo&utm_source=ar15

I keep a couple of bricks of 22lr and shorts, ratholed away, for these two :biglaugh:
I've noticed they're getting scarce up here too.

natchez has bulk federal 22lr!! hurry it wont last. they dont ship to GA:damn angry:

I talked with Ammo Makers today. I have enough of every caliber I'll need for some time to come.
I've been buying way too much for years in expectation of what's currently going on.
But I'm really concerned for you here. Dead Serious! If you need ammo, get it now.

Ammo makers say that the quality will drop and the prices will continue to rise. Not totally
because of them either. Supply and demand is now the driving force. Ammo may pass through
10 hands before being sold to the public and everyone in that loop has a mark up.
223 / 5.56 is in such high demand right now, I've heard of people paying $2.50 per round. 50 Cal.
OMG $25.00 TO $30.00 a round is being paid by some... :confused2:

We are currently eating away at ammo supplies from Serbia and they will be dried up soon.http://www.prvipartizan.com/company.php

Good Luck....

Looks like I only have trap and skeet shooting in my future. Prices on that stuff hasn't change and it is still widely available. At least it is one way to still have fun in the sun with firearms on the weekend.

Have you got your double barreled shotgun like Joe Biden suggested? :confused2:

Just Joking.

Lol... I too will instruct my spouse to shoot her only 2 rounds in the air. Definitely not, my wife knows to aim for center mass and is a damn good shot as well. She is not a huge fan of firearms but insists on knowing how they all operate and be proficient should the need to ever use them arise.

Hard to beat a day of trap or skeet. Your shoulder will wear out before before you hit the $100 mark. Can't say that about my AR or anything other than a 22 for now.

A guy showed up yesterday and bought 25 bulk packs of 22 and 1,000 rounds of non reject military M193, 5.56mm. Happily wrote me a check for $5,000.00 and went to the bank with me to insure me that it was good.:ummm::clapping:

Bulk pack of 22 is usually 500 rounds, but before all the craziness that only cost $20 each plus $300 for 1k 5.56. You made out like a bandit spec ops, congrats!

My brother found a 1k 9mm can for $300 in chicago yesterday, not sure how he pulled that off since I have been coming up dry in all my latest runs.

He HAPPILY paid 25 cents a round for the 22's. Total of 13750 rounds of Federal 22's. In fact, the price was his idea. He said it would cost
him more to try to find them in that quantity some where else. He had $187,000 balance in his check book and really wanted to buy more.
I have to maintain enough for any 22 testing that comes up or I could have totally retired. He said he may come back to buy a few Firearms. :confused2:
