Unfortunately won't work for me. We have an open house at work the following Tuesday and Wednesday so I'm on cleaning and setup detail all weekend!

Free fly in??!! I?d definitely be up for that one! Hell I?d pay if a group was going!unk: .. wish I could meet up with you guys on this one, but no Saturday rides for me, wife?s got law school on Saturdays all summer.

Ok, 5 of us have said yes to this ride so far, some others may jump in before the 1st arrives.
Talking to Mike last night, we came up with a tentative plan.

Meeting location. Looks like a good central area for those who've said yes would be Durand (except Mike, but he'll deal with it). Would be great for me since I live in Durand =)

I can lead a ride in the area for a bit then lead us down through Howell and Pinckney to Hell. Eat in Hell if we are ready for lunch then Mike can take over leading the group from there.

Meeting time? I'm thinking 9 or 10 am so guys that have a 100 mile ride to the meeting place don't have to get up at 6am, but if the consensus is to meet earlier or later I'm fine with that.

How's that sound to everyone?

Well guy's you can put me down as a Strong tentative....where is Durand? Is that the home of Drive-in Porn (Dirty Durand)? Looks like about 40 min from my place, so not that bad. Chuck, are you and any WestSiders going? Lansing might be a good "break" for a smoke or gas...

Sheesh, the Durand Dirties have been gone for like 20 years and that's still how the town is known. :confused2:

But yeah, same place. Exit 118 on I-69. Meet at the Shell gas station just east of the freeway.

I normally go every June (fly in Canada). I can't afford to go this year (about $900 when you figure in gas, food, and a one night motel stay the night before we leave) Well my best friend got together a group of 3 other guys. Last month one dropped out. Then 3 weeks ago one hurt his back and has to go in the hospital for that. Well the fewest that can go is 2, and he already paid a good deal of the money. Now last week the last guy told him that his wife has some health problems and may have to go into the Hospital. At that point, he can give up the money and not go , or just take me for free. (not a bad deal for me) SOOOO we won't know until the last second if this other guy is going. Or he may be able to move it back a week. I really don't want him to get stuck on this and frankly I would have to figure out some way to pay him back (even thought he would not ask me to)

Man that does suck for him. I also usually go on the second week in June, (every other year) but have not gone since my wife went back to school, give and take thing you know, but I will be back in action as soon as she is out! Four years down and four more to go!!

I've got a nice route mapped out from Durand to Hell. A mostly rural route with some good curves as well as long straights. It's about a 95 mile route.

If we meet in Durand at 10 and leave shortly after then we'll arrive in Hell between noon and 1pm. Get lunch, hit some of the cool roads in that area, get some Hooligan footage and then head home.

Should be a great day!

Would love to meet you guys but, I am scheduled to work. Work gets in the way of my social life. Maybe I can meet you guys in Hell. Where do you eat and approximate time?

The long range calls for thunder storms on Saturday... Any thoughts about doing it Sunday if it rains???
