JAMESG

Tour Cape Cod & Martha's Vineyard, Ma.
Rt. 6A Cape Cod is known to be a beautiful ride;
roads on MV Island (up-Island) are known to be picturesque & challenging(up/down & twistie).
Info. is provided by myself (yr. around), Jim 508-693-0993 or email.

Doesn't look like he's been on in a couple months.....other things prob came up..........

i know james. he would love to get together for a ride i'm sure. i'm sure him and dave could set something up

james actually bought my '94 from me to make room for the '03.

"Burnout" & "Holeshot" are in.....I'm in!! :clapping:

Now that some of the 'Jersey Crew' have foul weather riding gear' (chaps) maybe we can pry those guys out for a run!!

Pretty far out (time wise) for me & Tugla.....just let us know once you've ordered, we'll be there by the time they serve it!! :rofl_200:

Here's my little el-cheapo, $400 second hand ramp trailer.....we now have the capability of reaching areas of the 'galaxy' previous unaccessable to us.......:eusa_dance:

That's a pretty nice trailer set-up! I have something similar for hauling my bike around. I also secured a piece of 2x4 on each side of the Max's back wheel (sort of a poor-man's rear wheel chock) b/c the back end of the bike used to move side-to-side a bit over really bumpy roads with tie-downs only. The combination of the makeshift rear wheel chock, front wheel chock, and tie downs kept my Max secure on the trailer for several 4000 kilometre round trips to Nova Scotia.

Enjoy!

Anchor Bar, Canton, Martha's Vinyard...great ideas for a ride or even several rides depending on participation!

What do you use for tie-downs Blaine? I just have el-cheapo ratchet type that I've been lucky enough to not have fail on me.....going to replace before any other trips.

sdt. there are tons of trailers for sale out this way. if u wanna come out this way we could meet up for a beer.

Thanks Garrett, I'm checking out a couple on the Cape and S.E. Mass this weekend, but if none work out I'll take ya up on that offer. Loving my new shocks and free springs.
Thanks Again,
Steve

did u take advantage of the dennis kirk deal? which 440's did u end up with. none of them were the 'exact' vmax match.

yea man anytime, just give me a heads up. i'm pretty good at 'craigslisting' so if i see something i'll shoot ya a message.

Hi dannymax! I use both the racheting type and the cam-type (friction?) tiedowns. I look for ones that have a high working load and breaking strength. I think I bought mine at local big-box stores at a cost of $50 for each set of 4. Not sure of the brand or if that is cheap or expensive but they have been working well for me.

Hope to see you in 2010!

if ya guys are looking for a small utility trailer i got a great contact at Mission trailers where i just bought mine. Great guys and can hook ya up.

Thanks Garrettt, I haven't herd back yet from e-mails I sent to trailer adds, let ya know if I don't find one. I got the 13 inch chrome 440's and free fork springs, like um too. Still playing with the settings some, but improvement over stock for sure,
Steve

We need to pick a place and weekend for this.
I'm up for trying the anchor bar, but i will do whatever everyone else wants.
