85 - 86 brakes

Ok, this question may have been asked before, but are the calipers the same on a 86 model as an 85 model? It's just that 99% of the brake pads I see for sale say "Fits models 1986-92". I know the 93-03 are different, and so on, but did the 86 have different pads to the 85? or should I just buy 86 model fitment? Any help much appreciated unk:

The rear brake caliper is the same from '85 through '07 so I'm sure the pads will fit fine.

I know the front changed from 2 pot to 4 pot at some point, but how long were the original 2 pot calipers fitted? I have the older 2 pot and I assume they continued using them for at least a few years, so my assumption is the 86 pads will fit the 85 brakes.

other then color of the caliper there was no difference from 85-92 on the fronts.
