You can fit a radial rear with a bias ply front but not vice-versa...[/quot
Do you guys think $3,500 for s super clean 94 in yellow is worth it? It already has pipes and a corbin seat and backrest. 15K mi.
For comparison i bought a stock 1992 with 4,300 miles for $3500. It came with a sissybar & grabbar, windshield, and the chase harper saddlebags/ tankbag set. It wasn't in pristine shape cosmetically but mechanically it was.

Cool! This has Windshield, great exhaust/jetted, Corbin (Is it better than stock at least?), new tires, and is mechanically and cosmetically a 9 out of 10.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I don't ride like a sportbike at all, I just want something that won't feel all squirrelly on curves or turns. I test road it on a gravel strewn, pot-hole filled dirt road, so I have no idea how one really rides. Bikes in amazing shape, looks brand new actually. I'm thinking I am going to just get it and see if it rides just fine around town and then work up little upgrades. Frame brace seems cheap (and logical) so I'll try that right away, but maybe I'll wait on the rims till I can swing the nicer stuff - unless of course it's all over the place lol.

This is a great way to go in my opinion.
You can work your way up to the higher up mods. You may find the lesser mods are all you need before spending the big bucks.
Although besides getting rid of the stock seat, the 2nd best thing you can do is upgrade the front springs to progressives or racetech springs and emulators in my opinion.
From what I gather from other owners, my general consensus is, that taller riders Usually like the Corbin, us smaller guys generally prefer the low cut after market seats!
