Trials aren't about truth anymore. Years ago I took Allstate (My own Insurance Company for Underinsured Motorist Coverage) to court to recoup high out of pocket medical expenses from an accident. I overheard the Judge and an Allstate Rep making a deal on my settlement. The Rep told the Judge that if all went well as far as a low settlement, the Judges Daughter would have her new car by the end of the trial. What kind of a system is that. After the jury was released by the Judge, he cut their settlement award to me in half.

There is little truth or honesty in the Justice System.

No, we might have had a chance if he had. What I told him didn't set well with him but it was my word against a Judge. The Lawyer I was in trial with left the law firm when he found out his partner was in on it and hadn't mentioned anything.:confused2: We have so many criminals in authority any more we don't stand a chance. BTW: After we made a big stink over what had happened they added $1,001.00 to the settlement. They put a 7 year GAG Order on me about the trial too.

I was shocked that the Judge in the Zimmerman Trial didn't release the Jury and give the protesters a rope to hang him with.:ummm:
