Anyone taking a vmax to sturgis bike weak

I did Sturgis on my VMax 6 years ago and had a Great time.
I rode there from Minneapolis with 5 Harley Riders and no one at Sturgis had a problem with me for riding a Max.

I actually had quite a few Harley Riders ask me all about it, they almost all think it was only produced for a few years and are surprised when I tell them mine is a 2000.
And they all knew it was a lot meaner than their Harley.
I'm now living in NY, but if I lived closer I would go again.

I know lots of truck drivers. The very best of people.
I was in Sturgis in '08, but in June, well before the rally. Even so, bikes were everywhere. Not surprising, the area is incredible, for sites and things to do. Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument, Wind Cave, etc.
If you don't mind two lane blacktop, take route 20 on your way out west. You could pick it up just north of Cedar Rapids. Very scenic, little traffic.
After leaving S. Dakota, I went thru southern Montana, and again picked up #20 for the ride thru Idaho and Oregon, until the pacific ocean stopped me. 20 has to be one of the best rides in the western states.

I had to turn off my phones "self correcting" spell checker because it made mistakes that got me in trouble.
Perhaps that happened here.

Patmax when you pointed it out the way you did i dident catch what was going on for sure and i was on my stupid smart phone at the time. I hate that spell check crap. I wasent trying to make a funny in the title. And with my spelling capability's i vary well could see me doing what i did. I drive truck for a living for a reason and it's not because i can spell great. I feel when i write i get my point accross and thats good enough for me. Do to the fact that i dident know what was being said i did what any smart ass truck drive would do. I opened my mouth and shot myself in the foot. LOL. Trucker's smack talk all day long (CB) and sometime's i dont know whan to shut it down. I work for a vary big and vary successful trucking company and we have alot off fun doing are job's. No shit stirring in my eye's. Most twins are weak but i do know of some vary strong one's.
