I too am hoping to find a fairly clean luggage rack and backrest (do they still call them sissy bars?) for my '05 Max, if anyone can help me? I sure would like to take my wife with me sometimes, like I did in my younger days. But surveying my new bike she said no way. Not without a backrest!

I had that combination on my previous '95 and I was able to load that bike up for traveling. I sure would like to have that feature back again. 😢

There's one on Offer Up in Yorba Linda, CA for $50. Not in the best condition and only the backrest itself, but it's available.

Passenger retainers: That's funny. I would be most interested in that when it becomes available. Even if I have already found another by the time you get back to where they are in California, I'm sure I can help you find another worthy buyer. Let me know...

OMG! I don't need a back rest that bad. My wife will have to settle for riding with me on my VStar LOL. Seeing these prices I think I may have found a new hobby in my retirement. Stay tuned.
I managed to find a fairly decent shaped backrest here on the forums for $250 it came with a free corbin seat like new! Maybe it was the other way around lol.

I tried to call went to voicemail I sent you a text from 863 area code thanks!

I have a backrest, faux tank, original seat cover and I think some scoops too. Call me, Shawn@ 303-845-2551.
