Did someone say, "bigger valves?" And changing the retainers to 'shim-under bucket' to prevent the shims from being spit-out under high rpm's or aggressive ramp-up on the altered cams.

Hi nice looking chambers indeed. I i i intend to stay with standard cams. If this project goes as planned (1500 cc + EFI) I had couple of small Renault turbos in warehouse to move some mixture.

Hi,

Nice looking chambers indeed. I intend to move ahead with standard cams. i have plenty to do with 1500 cc + EFI 😅

Bigger valves? That sounds interesting! Woudn't that also need the seats and valve guids to be replaced? Very cool mod, I`ll be following your progess closesly.
The first pair of Toyota valves were a bit too short. Damn. I ordered a set of longer ones. The downside of them is that I have to machine the head of the valve smaller since only 1mm larger can be fittet to the original seats.
 
An incredible amount of work for this tiny piece but now it is as desired and also energy efficient

This is suitable intake valve to start with. Exhaust valve from that same engine platform should be as well. Need some resizing to make it +1mm oversize but base is affordable versus some special order stuff here in Europe.

We are also going to examine the cylinder heads with the flow bench to see how much we can improve the ports with some minor mods. Rational? Hell no, but because of fun.
