Let me say that my bike hasnt been started since the fall & my key/head lights been on & off through the winter sometimes as long as 15-20 mins at a time. So I am not surprised that it was dead. I have no way to start the bike untill its complete .The battery is at full charge now I assume but I wont know untill my volt gauge is hooked up. The reason it was over flowing I topped it off way to much. Since removing some of the acid/water it charged like normal as it should . It was bubbling in ll the cells but wasnt overflowing. Like Rusty sid never add to the battery before charging .. No I know why . Oh & the battery was removed from the bike as it was charging . I didn't want acid all over my new paintjob just in case something went wrong as it did lol.
