I haven't gotten in much riding this year.
The GF and I have both had bad luck. Her Marauder is down, My Vmax is down, The Shadow needs a clutch, and I gave the 750 Ninja to my little brother...:bang head:

I did manage two trips on 341 and several others on 123. I love both of those roads!

Damn I want my bike.

Second gear.
I'm saving for one of Sean's overdrive trannys if the bills quit getting in the way.
I may have to steal my 750 Ninja back from my little brother for the trip though. :punk::punk::punk:
That would require 65 to 16 down 7 to 123 over to the pig trail and back to 16. That's when the slow moving cruisers start getting in the way.
My (departed) little brother's shadow grinds pegs way too soon, and the apehangers don't really help handling. (If ya'll think a Vmax is a pig, try a Shadow with apehangers and forward pegs).

Yep. If the max isn't online, I'm borrowing the Ninja.:eusa_dance:

Just don't want metal floating around in the gearbox. I do take it to the grocery store or liquor store on occasion, but I don't want to screw anything up that would require a new motor.
I'm pretty rough on the gearbox anyway. But north Arkansas roads usually have me abusing things more than usual. Hell, my pegs are scraped to a 30 degree angle from those roads.

I will say that it sucks staying out of second gear, with my neighbor in the driveway polishing his Eliminator. I really enjoy lighting up that Metzeler in front of him.

Well, it looks like I am headed up there this weekend. I am trailering up expecting to be there Friday morning, and leaving Sunday.

Found rooms over in Springdale at $49 per night! :eusa_dance:

I'm heading up on Friday afternoon.
Going to be staying at the Terra Studios in a tent. At this point in time, it looks like I'll be getting wet.

Lots of bikes heading that way as of Thursday afternoon.

Hey JOZ, was that you I saw at Morrilton on the way up Friday? :ummm:
I was in a blue Dodge truck with a trailer.

I only saw 2 other max's there one a blue one on wed down on dickson and a black one today pulling out of a gas station at exit 85 off of 540. Did anyone get to test the 2010 max at the yamaha tent?!? I went but it was full when I tried so I rode the Can Am spyder instead.

I didn't want to ride the '10 Max. Might give me New Max Fever. I rode the Raider, and a Venture, some kind of Harley ( I had never ridden one before, so I just took the one that was free at the time), and the Can-Am.

I was set to ride a Stratoliner, but the Can-Am demo took too long. :bang head:

Was I pushing a Shadow? :bang head:

I only spotted one max the whole weekend. I think it was you! Looked like your bike to me, but I didn't have time to ask. Dickson st. was kinda hectic at the time.

Nope, that isn't me. The Max I saw at Morrilton was gassed up and was leaving when we pulled up. We gave each other a Fonzie Thumbs up, and he left.

I saw the same bike again Saturday but I was on a Demo ride at the time, and he had left his parking spot by the time I got back.
