Carb causes to die at idle

My scoot starts up without too much trouble but the idles choppy (troubleshooting a variety of issues). I notice that when I push the throttle down 1/2 way that the bike boggs and dies. If i push it mm by mm it eventually takes over with the enrichment and idle raises as usaul.

since my major issue im troubleshooting is a bad idle after warming and horrible gas mileage, I wanted to see if this sounded normal to anyone. if so... whats going on behind the scenes?

MAXXES are few and far between in Hawaii so I have no idea whats normal.

There are so many stupid little things that can be causing this!

Very hard to troubleshoot though the computer.

Its a shame that Thomas Powell left Hawaii.He could have definately helped.

v. good point. May try to lookup Thomas to see which shops he trusted. I try to keep all the repairs as in-house as possible to keep the bills (and the wife's complaining) to a reasonable amount!

but so far, I've shotgunned, peashot, cleaned carb and synced via homemade method. got me a carbtune2 and will sync again tomorrow.

There is a really big list of what could be wrong.I have had a lot of stupid ones happen to me.

Cracked vboost boot-Could not see under the clamp.
Needle jet screw fell out.
Diaphrams not installed right.
Choke linkage E clip fell off.
Put the bowls on backwards,Vents facing forward had air blowing into them.

The list can be endless!

Syncronizing them good is a start.I have seen home made Sync tools that lied.
