A thread was started about thunder, Novie started his typical VMOA talk and then some insults. Then he got kicked off the forum because some person(s) complained to the moderators.

I don't agree with the way Bob expressed himself in many of his posts, there was no need for the extreme attitude. But, at the same time I valued his opinion in general on the VMOA topics. He offered a different point of view than most. Every so often he even raised a good point or posed a serious question. He just delivered too harshly.

i just asked the mod to clean up the thread, not to ban anyone... i'm not bothered to much by internet jerkoffs, i asked him to come to thunder and say what he was saying in person... i bet his tune wouldnt have been the same if he did...

he did have some good posts that he wasnt a total turd hole in though.

There's a clear distinction between voicing a contrasting opinion in a discussion, and hammering out blatant, childish insults to anyone who disagrees. One is appropriate for VMF, the other for grade school lunchrooms.

Honestly I was surprised "nobody" lasted as long as he did. Pretty much every thread he posted in ended up getting deleted or locked.

Actually Bob had quite a few temporary bans, but those bans are cumulative, then when you've had X number of temporary bans it becomes a permanent one.
