I had my 2009 Scoops chrome plated and finished with a translucent candy red. I then added internal LED Halo Lights This is as close to Red Chrome you can get imho. I added Police Interceptor badges for detail. These badges are attached with 3m double tape and easily removed using a hair dryer FYI
I did incur a small ding on the leading edge of one and have added Gurued Badge. The small ding is located under the G and about the size of the head on a small hat pin. The scoop refinishing was done through Sean Morley and of excellent quality. These scoops really POP in the sun. $500 plus shipping Scoops are complete per pictures.

Yes. Probably close to $1K to buy new scoop assemblies and chrome plate and then add the red finish. Plus coming off a 2009 bike the finish has proven the durability of the process. Along with work being done by a nationally recognized shop (Morley). And. If you know my bike it is first class maintained I will pull off the for sale site end of month and pack back away FYI

What are you going to Rick? I didn't think you'd ever part with these!

These are my spare backup set. They were on my bike while I was getting the other set done

I suppose I could remove the halo LEDs and intake screens & mounting plate with hardware and drop price to $425.00 for just the bare scoops. These scoops will really pop and accent any Gen 2 color. Especially if you paint the side covers to match the body set imho
