Cooling fan issues

Rode today in stop and go traffic and the temp gauge was almost on the red and my cooling fan didn't come on. Where can I find the temperature switch for the fan? The other thing I'd like to do is run a manual on/off switch so I can at least turn the fan on....

Temp switch is under the right hand scoop.

The fan doesn't kick on till the gauge is in the red.

If you download a manual, you can test the switch to see if its working properly. Lots of guys freak out when they see the gauge is nearing the red zone but, its pretty common.

The connector to the temp switch is a common area for corrosion to build also.
