Something people may not be aware of, but the inventor of the ****-Tex fabric had a catastrophic fire at a factory where the product was manufactured for different applications around the world.

Well Mr. **** (no not Al **** the politician) after taking stock of his burned-out factory, did something that made me decide to vote with my pocketbook, when it came to products made with his textiles. He put into operation plans to rebuild his factory, and turned his fire-damaged brownfield site into a new-construction factory site.

All those employees, put out of their jobs by the fire? Mr. **** continued to pay their salaries until the factory was completed, and production began once-again.

The behavior of that business owner is one reason why I'll always buy ****-Tex textile products. In my experience, including inclement weather (that would be rain) attending Daytona during Bike Week, with my riding buddy, over nearly 40 years heading north to get there, while most of the rest of the attendees ride or drive south to attend, the value of performance of ****-Tex for me has been much-more than 'de luxe plastic bags.' Dry feet, dry hands, and dry torso/upper and lower extremities all mean you can stay warm and comfortable and have better reaction times as you deal with the trials of the roadway. That's because I have ****-Tex gloves, riding jackets and pants too.

Thank-you Mr. ****, a great industrialist who knows his employees are his greatest asset.

There were years I rode a R100RT to Daytona Bike Week instead of a VMax. I stayed comfortable in my ****-Tex.

I'm Well aware of the **** moral code i was beta tester a product demonstrator (wind Stooper, a Inflatable WIND vest, in Collaboration with Rukka and Rukka with SHOELER and their reverse Porosity opening at it got Hotter (not colder) Oh the Rukka five six and seven SEries Suits (not really sold in the US)

Also Work and Sold many patents to mountain hardware before the culumibia sportware debacle< don't take me wrong **** Tech is incredible (The even make Steants for brain and heart Attacks, but their focus is more BMW RT than CR450Rally

PS: I'm sure you know about the PAtaguchi Gesture, That win the cake if you ask me

No Pantagonia vest for me in the tropics. A guayabera is more likely to be seen on power players here.
 
I’ve been wearing a safety toe shoes while Im riding, I bought pair of alpine stars tech 3 boots size 16, yes I’m 6’7” and wear size 15 in shoes and it’s hard to find some in that size, let alone riding boots
When I put them on I gained instantly 1.5’ in height, I walked funny and when I got on the bike, I couldn’t even hit the kick stand, I felt super clumsy, so before I return them, any tips or tricks on having them like break in be a bit softer or should I return them and keep looking.
So I had the 3/4 above the ankle version of these. Not sure why you would choose a Moto boot for Vmax riding but I did love mine. Same color, easy to walk in although still stiff. Have you ever walked in ski boots? While they gave me years of service, they eventually failed. The sole started to separate. The hard plastic plates outside started cracking. The plus was the snap closures remained functional and the rubber bottoms had good stiction.
in South Florida, no way I’d ever over order those for street riding but see if you can sell them and put the funds toward what you want.

I had them placed for return and placed an order for those, Revzilla price matched some other online for pretty sweet deal. Can’t wait to try them on.
