What diameter is your HID's? Both lights on at the same time? What are you using to mount them in back of the headlight? What type of bulbs are you using (H1, H3, etc...)?

Can you provide any pictures of front & back of headlight?

Mike

If you want a nice small projector fork mount try KiWav. I use one on left fork with beam positioned between low and high. Very well build. $95 each. They also sell a decent handlebar switch.

Leroy, would you mind posting up a picture of your setup? That Kiwav light looks pretty good!

Hi Mike, they are H3 1 HID and 1 normal H3; I use the HID on all the time and the full both of them when I need it! Original mount,
The only mod I had to do was enlarge the back plate for the HID so i could go thru with the wires and a switch as I don’t like starting the bike with the lights on!
:punk:

Thanks for the input so far, but I am still having a hard time finding lights that fit and that offer a high low option.

They need yo be 2" diameter and 4.5" length max.

Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

I don't think you ever will find a light that size with high low option.
That's why they use one for low and both for high when sold new.

bikedave99 late but go to facebook morleys muscle video muscle hybrid marks exhaust to look at light

I just found these ones that would fit. They are the right size. Now just need to do a little more research to see if they would work.

These guys have maybe the best stuff f4om what I read before, however the opened design of their projectors requires the projectors to be fully enclosed. It might work with the cybermax or any mask headlight I guess.

There is a rubber boot that you can fit over it to make it more waterproof.

We'll I found that these might be worth a try. They are gonna be a really tight fit. The are 2" in dia. X 5.15" long.

You don't get high beam, but hoping that they are bright enough since they are HIDs.

I figure if they don't fit, then I can put them on of the trucks.

Keep us updated. Is be interested if it works. My setup, stock cybermax lamps with 100 watt bulbs isn't worth a damn, the lens is just all wrong for this application.

Ok, these won't work as they are too long and will hit the steering neck, especially the lock for the steering.

So, the quest is on to find something else that will work.

I did find these ones on Aliexpress.com - They are a 2" dia. light that offers hi/lo beam. They don't need ballasts, etc... like HIDs, so they take up less space.

Only concern is if they are bright enough.

The factory lights in my cybermax are almost too long. I had to put 3-4 washers behind the mounting points on the brake line junction block to get them to clear the neck. I feel your pain.

Finally made a decision and ordered HID 2.0 motorcycle projectors. They are 2" diameter at the front and 4" long, so they should fit no problem.

The come with red devil eyes, angel eyes and hi/lo beam.

Will post pics when I get them installed.

Well, the HID lights that I bought, as pictured in a previous post, did not work out. So I sold them and ended up buying some LED projection lights.

Still sorting out the wiring, but did end up adding a red devils eye into them, so I thought I would post some pictures of them.

Pictures taken in the garage and with a crappy camera, so they are not the best quality.

I am still in the mock up stage, but I should end up with a high and low beam and the red devil eye.
