I have spoken with people who have waited Months for their seat from RMS.

I also remember the original owner , John, having a less than splendid reputation from what was posted on the other forums.

You should have went with Morley for the seat, you made a big mistake.

It is difficult when these things post up. I know Johns seats do have a big backorder according to him. I have a seat we have been waiting on for quite some time now but it's also a custom setup that is taking longer to get ready (new silkscreen pattern). Once we get it complete we'll have it available to other customers with a lot less wait time.

Hey there guys;

Just wanted to voice an opinion about a V-max parts specialist that I am not happy with. I am not done with the deal yet, but I am getting concerned that all will not work out in the end.
Here are the details:
I sent my seat in to be redone with foam and cover, and also bought a new set of bars as well. I knew going in that the seat would take some time to get back, as it was well indicated on the website. Knowing this I expected that if I sent it in before Christmas, I would have it back before March.
It is now April and I still do not have it back yet. I have been emailing him asking for a date, but the issue seems to be that he sends them out to someone else to have the work done.

Before I out the dealer publicly, I wanted to see what others opinions are about doing so.
Thanks,
Canadian_guy

I have very little control over over the turnaround time on SportMax seats, as I already have explained to you, more than once, Steven...Particularly once the season gets busy...When his daytime job(upholstery shop) gets busy, things slow down even more...(I know how tough it is, after a long day here, to want to do much of anything else when I get done...)Yes, HE is located in Denver; We're now in PA, & have tried other seat guys, with less-than-perfect results, so we have to stay with what works...Sorry for the delay, but aside from steady phone calls, there is nothing else we can do.

PS. If I had known about this thread earlier, I would have answered it earlier...(I'm NOT shy...)

& a BIG SORRY to the other seat vendors here, that had to take time out of their busy days as well, to answer/deal with something that they shouldn't have had to...

...(It's that time of season, folks...I have even less time to get on here than normal...There is work waiting as we speak, which waits even longer, while I answer this kind of thing...)

OK,...Back to work.
