Everyone knows the frame rails on a Vmax are the weak link, made worse by Yamaha having poor welds and gussets .

The solution is to use Bamboo instead of steel and use hot glue gun at the joints.
I would have suggested balsa wood but think it might be a tad weak.
I have included a picture of pathetic attempt at something similar but what moron would use 4 x 2 's in construction of a purpose made jump bike?
If only they'd bamboo instead!

Chill out freeride, it's a pathetic attempt at a joke. Are you really going to listen to someone who angles mirrors for additional lift?

Since he won't post any pics, I will:

Awesome idea Jedi, an international consortium on V-max jumping technology. Bamboo does see use in Japan as scaffolding because it is superior to steel.......
And by the way RaWarior the mirror lift theory was all Rockatansky's.

Oh No, you got caught up in same mind boggling ideas of the plasma cutter on the wheels as I did. At the bottom of the post he put the name of wheels. Though it might be possible to machine the stock wheels down a bit to lighten them, the plasma cutter thing just dont fly. Heats the metal up to much, you would never be able to true the wheel after that.
I wondered about that but since I have add a board strecher, muffler bearing grease, and hired Lankee Yankee as a design consultant this project is a GO! Might even use some of that manure to formulate the fuel or engine oil to keep the tree huggers happy!
************ With vboost we fly!************

If they have a gravity reducer, helium in the heads and they use em correctly with the penile pump this could take flight:ummm:

You are really onto something here Brian!! '85....Rocko, I'm sure you immediately see the tremendous PR value in this....not to mention the federal funding available.... for projects employing 'green thechnology!'

My only concern, once again, is 'Upstaging' Obie's folks'! You just know 'others' will use that to make him look bad...."why didn't you help your homies", blah, blah!!

But, handled with babies bunghole smoothness, I believe you can pull this off! :punk:
