Drive shaft thingy.

Hey fellas, on the drive shaft on my 07 is a welded clip (u shaped) facing outward about an inch and roughly behind where the OG muffler would have mounted. Anyone have a clue as to what it's there for ?

A vent tube holder for something, cant remember what though at the moment. Maybe drain line from around the gas filler?

You are correct sir and underneath the sump theres a coil with the battery drain...

What had me scratching my head was....I never seen nuthin' welded to the drive shaft.....the drive shaft TUBE is a different story however....:biglaugh:
