I know we don't have enough responses yet, so I hope this poll will keep getting bumped.

Otherwise, this is what I thought.

I want to try to find a correlation on the V-Max between performance and elevation. Looks like - so far - most of you are at low elevations. I'd expect you to see wheelie-popping performance.

I think those of us at high alt suffer a substantial power loss. I live at 6000 ft . and work at 5000. Most rides takes us into the passes at 9000 ft or so.
Last time I had my ZX-11 ( tuned for this alt but re jetted for sealevel for the trip) at sea level it was much faster than up here--- lofting the front wheel at will ect. I havent had the Max to sea level with proper jetting though.

Yeah, I agree with you. I also have the same elevation changes. Right now I am jetted at 147.5s but would love to see how this would do with stock jetting 4 or 5 thousand feet lower.

I had my XS11 to 10,500 before and it was running so rich it barely made enough power in 1st gear. I've regularly had my dirt bike at really high elevations also.

Average elevation near my home of 1225'. I've had my 06 since July and it has 3K miles. Engine/intake/exhaust all totally stock.
