Well, I may as well get this thread going as I was the first to get home probably! I would like to first say thanks to the organizers of this great ride! I live in the general area (1.5 hours away) and love these roads. However, it is that much better riding with people who like me, have had the rest of their motorcycling experiences ruined by this bike! Here are few of the shots taken by my wife and I on the ride.

Here are a few at the hotel getting ready to go:

Then some out on the road pics in some of the first couple legs:

Then pausing for break and waiting for the pack to get up:

Then back at it:

Stopping for a quick break:

Is that a Goldwing:

Yup, and there was a Nighthawk 750 in front of it with a younger guy on that I was told had an interesting experience coming up to the rally. Riding at 10pm and had a deer jump into the side of his bike so hard he dented his tank with his knee and his windshield broke some. But he kept it vertical! Cudos to the young dude! I had a bunch more pics and video but my memory card got a little corrupted and some went missing...grrrr...:bang head:

Thanks man!
I've been chomping at the bit all weekend to see this.

Haha, yeah, saw your impatient post in the Organized Ride thread and figured I'd better hurry up and get the pictures started! I'm sure a bunch more will start to show up soon!

Made it back home safely in one piece to sw Kansas
Will be loading some pics tomorrow:biglaugh:
Thanks to all that was there for an awesome weekend!!

And hammer down, we did!

Had a fantastic time - again this year, meeting back up with friends I made last year, and lots more I met this year.

Thanks for the pictures. IF I can remember to bring my camera to work (fast connection), perhaps a few of my pics will be worthy of posting as well.

Here is some more pics around the parking lot of the motel to rest stops and of course the Arkansas Grand Canyon:eusa_dance:

Man! I should have shown up even without second gear.
Sean's two face is simplistic and kinda dominates the pictures as does that '10 with red accents.
I'll be there next year if I have to ride my unicycle.:bang head:

Who's the big dufus in the orange sleeveless shirt? If he had a Vmax, he wouldn't know what to do with it.

Great pics, looks like a fun event, and the roads look great as well! :punk:
In the first pic looks like someone needs a new rear tire!

Very good eyes. He made it back the 80 miles to the hotel with the chord showing. BUT, he has 250 miles to get home. Hatter, did you make it yet? I knew he said he was going to stay an extra day and get a tire from the stealer down the street (which would be today).

Sean

Kind of looks like Tony Stewart. :)

Yep. Must of been him.

The wall of that place was full of celeb photos - all signed.

He's probably a regular to the area due to the roads for practicing, or something.

Holy crap! I knew you guys were talking to him about his back tire, but every time I saw it, it must have been parked differently. I didn't see the stripped area. I just knew it was getting way bald.

Anybody know what would happen if your running 60mph on wet roads and face a closed/half full gatorade bottle that rolled out of the back of a flat bed pickup. Whats the physics on this?

Would it break when your front or rear wheel hit it or would it be the bump from hell? Well it happened to me and my wife coming out of Harrison on 62 west Saturday when we were leading Hatter back on that more than bald rear tire. Anyway, I could see it coming and did my best to vear from it and the damn bottle missed us by inches. Scared the **** out of me!

That was a hell of a good ride, the only down side is in Dave's pics, the ones that i'm in if I didn't have my helmet on, my back was to the camera and I didn't realize how big my bald spot was gettin' :bang head: any way, great roads, great pace, great group, excellent lunch and had a great time meeting new people and catching up with old friends. I cannot wait to do it again and let her eat her fair share of those addictive twisties. scott
