So saturday it was almost 60° here in michigan. I woke up synced my carbs and couldnt resist to take the bike for a ride. I was easy on it till i got used to it a bit. Took off from a stop sign and gave her hell through the first 3 or 4 gears. That v boost really impressed me. But i did notice the clutch seemed to be slipping a little.

Took a ride over to the beekeepers house to show him he bike. He approved and i let him take it for a ride. Of course he put it to the test grabbing a few gears.:punk:

He mention it seemed like the clutch moght be slipping just like i thought. I called the dealer i got it from and they said bring it back asap and they will take care of it. I asked them if they would throw the pcw spring in there while they were in there. They said no problem.

So getting a new clutch in the bike for free with stiffer spring. Can beat that.

Overall im happy with the bike tho.

Is this with or without the new cops?

Without. I wantes to put some miles on it to see the difference. Ill prolly wait a while to put those on. Thanks for the fast shipping and quality product tho!

A good move to let Tom exercise your bike, he should be able to tell you what needs 'fettling.' Enjoy the break in the weather as long as it lasts.

I have a friend coming into Miami, he's from Hickory Corners, not far from you. He's here to re-visit places he's been in the past in FL, and is keeping an eye out for a place to get for the winter season, but he's in no-hurry to buy.

Here's a shot of traveling back to Grand Rapids to return to FL after attending a 40th high school reunion a few years-ago. There had been a car show and the road was filled w/the attendees, a great way to travel back to the airport, via M-37. And a bonus shot to remind you only a few months until you're enjoying more-temperate weather. Pic of a Century inboard, yes, that's a wood hull, w/a 260 marine Ford Interceptor. What a great-sounding engine! The hull is circa 1960.

I bet you are champing at the bit to run w/the Hooligans!
