fuel light..how far can you go?

How much further to you get on the larger tank?

165-170 in town and 220ish on the interstate, speeds from 65-75.

that's great... where did you get your tank?
Does your fuel light still work and what about your reserve tank switch etc?

The tank is from BRM (link below) and I won't tell you how little I payed coz it'll make you sick. The actual price will make you sick enough. Its a 5.5 gallon and sits in the same place as the stock tank. All same hook ups just gives more volume. I still see the red light just farther down the road, same reserve as you .5 gal.

Just gassed up tonight a few miles after the red light and fetched a nice 168 miles on 4.8 gal. leaving a little over a half gal for reserve.

sounds like 'bull' to me IMO - probably just trying to give you an answer , just any answer to get rid of you... Then again I'm no professional, it just seems a bit far fetched unless you have a modified speedo drive etc etc
If it as he's saying I'd get some money back off the purchase price if you bought the bike under the impression it had 25000k's.

Sounds like BULL to me too .. but I am just giving the dealer all the time he needs to figure out what he might think is wrong with it, since he gave me a courtesy bike for the time being.
Yeah. I need portion of my money back OR I need me a replacement.
