Hey everyone---
My fuel sending unit wire is not attached anymore plus it deteriorated due to the gas sitting in my tank for many years without moving. Two questions---can this be fixed you think? If not, does anyone know if other Yamaha bikes have the same fuel sending unit? I have been doing a lot of searching on EBAY and there are a lot of them that look very very similar in terms of the mounting holes but I can't verify that.
The one that is broken is mine--the other two are from different Yamaha motorcycles--a R6 and a YZF600. They look very similar that is why I am wondering if anyone knows. Also, couldn't I just purchase one of them, unscrew the phillips bolt and attach it to mine and take the wire and solder it onto mine as well to make it work?
