Climate Change is going to happen whether humans are here or not. It always has, It always will.
Remember that question, "If a tree falls in the woods, and no one was around to hear it, would it make a noise". Are we as humans so arrogant, that we feel that a natural occurrence would be influenced, because of our presents, or lack there of? If no one is around to hear it, would air molecules stop banging into the leaves and bark as the tree fell? Would gravity dampen the blunt thud of the tree when it hits the ground, if we were not there? I don't think so.
This planet has been around for 4.5+ Billion years. Humans have been here for a few hundred thousand. Industrial use have been in place for a fraction of that time. As a perspective analogy, We humans are as a grain of sand on a beach called Earth.
With all the Volcano's that have erupted over the history of our planet, spewing out megatons of green house gases. Lets not forget that plants use Co2 and makes a poison called O2. Many plants and animals died out as the 02 increased in the air. We've adapted to use this gas. Humans can go green all we want, but it wont make a bit of difference. It will make some select people rich though.
If something wipes us out, be it plague, comet / asteroid, aliens, whatever. Our planet will keep on doing its thing. Something else will eventually take our place.. Its just a matter of time itself.

I could spend all my time debunking your your links and I would not change your mind and you will not change my mind. Climate change is happening whether you want to believe it or not and 97% of climate scientist agree. Anthony Watt from your first link works for the Heartland Institute and gets paid to deny the science (remember smoking does not cause cancer). For anyone else that wants to do some research about debunked denier claims here is a link for you...

I for one will try to do my part to help the only planet we have and if it turns out that the science is wrong then the worst that will happen is that we will have a greener planet.
97% of CLIMATE scientists? How did you verify that? Are these the SCIENTISTS that were telling us there was going to be an ice age back in the 70's? Are they the scientist that make their money, sometimes A GREAT DEAL of money, trying to get the public agree to hand over their money to the socialist machine? Are they the scientists that had to change from screaming global warming to screaming climate change after it was made public they lied and altered data that proved they were wrong?
You say the worst that will happen is that we will have a greener planet, but they havent accomplished that at all, and wont as evidenced by their support of China being given carte blanche to continue increasing their levels of polution.
The goal is to take your money, your future, and your liberty. And they are succeeding by making you believe their emotional bulshit. You are happily giving it up despite the reality staring you in the face.
The worst that will happen is the destuction of the most productive, wealthy, educated nation ever known.

Global warming means longer riding season! Im all for it!!!

Conversely, it also would mean more taxation under the guise of protecting us from ourselves. So, although you might see a longer riding season, you might not have enough money left to buy rubber & gas to enjoy it. :biglaugh:

That would make the elite socialist bastards happier as it would take us longer to hunt them down .

Oh damn Jim, I thought you were coming to visit! I'm half Scottish and was wondering why I had to tell my yard! You might get stuck in it right now since I still have a foot and a half of snow covering it! Envy you with your trip to Scotland! Say hello to any Cameron you may run into if your in the Fort William area!
