Never woulda come up with that. Good idea! Is that refrigeration/hvac tubing? You just clamp it in a vise to do that? What did you sharpen it with?

Yes soft 3/8 copper hvac tubing smashed with a hammer then sharpened on a belt sander then file. You have to re-sharpen it allot, but no nicks in the aluminum which is what makes the gasket grip and tear when removing I bet. I need a flat honing stone now to get both surfaces super smooth cuz this will come back apart I fear..
