Most wacko, hard to decifer, gun laws in the USA stem from a bunch of bleeding heart liberals' attempts to take away our 2nd Amendment rights to keep and bare arms. MAINE LAWMAKERS CONSIDER ABOLISHING CONCEALED PERMIT REQUIREMENT

Seems Maine is gonna get serious. They were considering it, but with them moving it to a public debate, the legislature is even more strongly considering this route. I suspect though that the part about still requiring a permit inside city limits will not last. Considering that a decent chunk of the Maine citizenry live inside the urban line, they will want that part stricken, and have it allowed in the cities as well.

Open carry has always been legal in PA until you get into or on a vehicle, then LTCF is required. 15 minutes, and $20 for 5 yrs.
