Grrr ! I cant seem to win lately. Went to Doc Tuesday Morning because I have been having a lot of mic problems & they gave me a ride to the ER that I was not planning on. I am home now so the ones of yall that were waiting on parts they will be shipped Friday & the ones of yall I am working on stuff for there is a small delay. I have to take it easy until at least Monday when I can get a little help. They were looking for other problems for me hurting & being short of breath & found a compression fracture in my back so they seem to think everything is stemming from this . Sorry for the delay in parts & work. I was not planning this.

Hang in there Kyle. I've been in the same boat as far as getting behind in parts or service due to unforeseen circumstances. As long as you have good communication with everyone (customers) they are all decent and understanding.
Get better, listen to them Drs, easy on the Rum!

Bad back = pain. Bad back and pain kills mixed with a little alcohol = alot less pain. :biglaugh:


Just make sure you dont do any kind of work at all when your feeling no pain.

Not much of a pain pill person. I would have never known about this fracture since My back hurts every day from previous fractures at T6 & T7 & L2 . I knew it been a little worse lately at times but just took it as having some bad days & that was not even my complaint at the doctor or hospital.

My wife's had those compression fractures, kinda looks like a crumbling cookie on the scans. Hers was due to years of prednisone usage due to Lupus.

They shot them full of superglue, (My term)

It worked.

Yea, the back is the main center of your body. With it bad it's hard to function. I've got some issues with mine every now and then (a few different accidents over the years haven't helped). Most "Vmax" customers will be more then understanding with a little delay provided there is communication.

Thanks Larry, I will get it done My arm is a little sore where they had a heart cath in yesterday & they said not to use my hand at all for at least 24 hrs (already not doing good wit that) & not to lift any thing over 10 lbs for at least a week but im thinking if I take it easy for the next few days I will be good to go by Monday with a little help that I have lined up.

Pills and/or alcohol might be OK for a short term injury but not a good solution for chronic pain.

Take it easy and do what the doc recommends . They study this stuff , all we know is it hurts . Most can't even remember why. Dad told me not to play football with the older kids with out equipment. Girl friend told me not to play football with the fraternity with out equipment. What do they know ? Turns out they were right on. Head injuries and back injuries can come back to haunt. Old age ain't for sissies. unk:

Naprosyn (Aleve) works for pain for me. Sounds like they suspected a coronary stenosis or occlusion if they gave you a cardiac catheterization. Pain in one area may be a problem in another. Did they give you a stress test and then do the catheterization?

Aleve works VERY well for muscleoskeletal pain. Learned that they hard way after completely tearing everything in my left knee doing jumping front kicks in karate.

I had a stress test done 2 weeks ago. I have had strange stuff going on for about a month now. I will take it easy for a while & see if anything clears up. I usually just take 800 MG Ibuprofen for pain. I very rarily take any prescription pain pills but I did take 1 today cant remember the name of it but it helped.

I was told last in 2001 the last time I messed up my back that I was lucky to be walking & it was always going to bother me & he was right it hurts every day. he said he would give me pain pills if I wanted them but the best thing to do was just face that it was going to hurt so that's what I have always done just deal with it. I have seen way to many people hooked on Vicoden & stuff to have any desire to take any thing on a daily basis.

One other thing I am not preaching but please watch out taking pills with alcohol . I lost my EX to a misfortunate accident she took 2 vicoden after a night of drinking & never woke up.

Amen to that. Everyone was very decent with me on this last purchase of Ignitech TCI's that took at least 4 weeks longer than I had said upfront. I tried to keep everyone informed of what was going on.

Yes I have to say this is a very good group about understanding . The accidents dont help any I guess we all learn the hard way.

Kyle, I hope everything works out well. Pain pills never did anything for me except a severe headache and confusion. Dr's tried to get me hooked on Vicodin ES, 4 times a day. I got lost on the way to a Dr's appointment so I told them to shove it. I can deal with the pain, can't deal with the Stupid of the pills.
