The pain pills work for me but knock my ass out. Agreed not to take them with anything but food/water.
anyway, old age sucks!!! :bang head:
Different things work for different people the aleve is worth trying. The 800 MG ibuprofen seem to ease it a little for me but I might try aleve to. I have taken a couple of the pills that they gave me & they seem to help with the vertigo I have been getting where nothing else has helped.I am 69 yo and have daily pain in my neck and lower back. The pain level varies but is daily. I don't take pain killers for the obvious reasons but may try the Aleve. I usually just use aspirin when it gets bad. The docs say I have arthritis and osteoporosis. The arthritis runs in the family but not sure how I got the osteoporosis. Thought that was a lady problem after menopause? :ummm:

I will try the Aleve. I am up for any thing non prescription. I don't think it will help with the vertigo though. I been reading on it some & Benadryl is supposed to help there are a lot of other things to but that is the best non prescription thing I have found. I did find the exorcise that is supposed to help but they said just take it easy for a bit so that is what I have been doing. Im going stir crazy though so fixing to get out for at least an hour or so.I don't know about vertigo being helped by Aleve, but the generic equivalent of Aleve, Naprosyn, will help your pain and should require less multiple dosages to take-care of your pain.
