Hello,
Can anyone help me locate the detailed instructions once posted on this forum?
I did receive the Akra instructions but it is mainly to do with installing the ull kit (Xpipe and slip on).
I know that I saw something about trimming slightly the (original) heat shield on one side to fit the Xpipe but cannot find it.
Any help appreciated. I know this has been discussed100 times before ;)
Pictures, instructions, graphic, anything!
Thanks

I ended up buying the Akra Xpipe and sure enough it DOES NOT fit. At least not if you want to keep the stock look🤬
$1,000 down the drain.
Upon searching for the answer to another question ("can we remove the valve cables") without creating any issues (error code?) I came across the answer to my 1st question! (it does NOT fit well).
If anyone is intersted :

Also is anyone know the answer to the valve cable question, let me know.

If it's just a matter of some slight trimming of a heat shield then how difficult can it be...and at the end of the day, can you see it when you're riding the bike?

If you want an x pipe with the stock look, buy my Optimal Carbone x pipe. There’s a for sale thread.

If you don’t want a check engine light but you don’t want to tune the bike, just leave the EXUP motor connected to the harness but remove the cables from it so it doesn’t actually do anything.

Correct the trimming is no big deal. but it seems you have to remove part of the inside metalic part that used to keep it solidely in place by linking it to the CAT so I also have to think of a way to attach it back to the Xpipe.

AHh, I wish I had seen your post earlier. Unfortunately it is too late. Thank you though for the advice re the cables.
