That's a beautiful bike, love the paint....

Hes been helping me with the Max and me with his Vrod they both have the same size wheels and tires 19-3 in front and 18-8.5 in back both have Dunlap 120 70 19 in front with 250 40 18 Dunlap elite 3s on the back his bike is a little longer do to his factory rake of 36 degrees my swing arm is 2 inches longer then stock.

Those pics don't do his bike justice its all chromed out wheels swingarm....... J E Illusions in CA did the paint set.

very nice dude...very nice..is that the one that uses the gear drive to ofset the shaft?

Can i ask how much was the swing arm alone? you can pm me the details if there is need to.....

It uses a small transfer case [like on a four wheel drive] it is lubricated by the engine oil running from the oil pump to a return on the clutch cover just the swingarm alone is over $3K there is no offset at all, my rear tire is directly in the center of the bike no vibration, handles great, very stable its not lite though.

i love it! to each his own .... hercules does your bike only have a single front brake on a 19" wheel? kinda scary. you probably shouldnt buy the new one- the old vmax was fast enough to overpower its dual discs so you must ride at harley speed lol.

on another note having looked very closely at the pics [upto 1200%mag ] i found a few things
it has now frame under the engine it is a stressed member
it has monoshock rear suspension with remote resevoir and adjustments
the rear pegs seem a little high
it may be fly by wire but it has dual-push pull cables at the throttle
ther is a crossover pipe in the exhaust under the front of the engine
the forks seem to be black chrome tubes and have adjustments on top
with the monoshock in the way i am not sure about the fuel tank?
i think i see roller followers on the intake valves
i think it could be improved but i am like some others it looks like a updated vmax and i hope it kicks ass!!:clapping:

Actually the old max doesn't overpower its Duel front calipers, you ever notice any drag bike having duel front calipers? All the Kosman racing wheels Ive ever owned have a single caliper to reduce weight and thats for drag racing going from 0 to well over 100mph in the quarter mile then slowing down rather quickly so???

As for Harley speeds No I like to go fast on straight a ways.

Ive ridden that bike with just one brake up front without the rear brake at all under hard acceleration when testing out the setup and did not having a problem?

Maybe its just the rider! LOL

herules maybe i stated that alittle strong . its your bike if you like it that is what counts:biglaugh:. what i was really trying to say was that even though we all think we know[me included] what the perfect bike is, :ummm:it is very subjective. i really like a bike to work well in as many areas as possible therefore your bike is a little off the mark with the fat rear tire and lack of braking but it does have a look all its own
on the brake subject try that stop 3 times in a mile and see how it works:hmmm: with a single front brake. i understand the drag reference but you do ride it on the street right? also if you are drag racing why the heavy "swingarm/transfercase" and fat tire they will both slow you down?
lets keep the info and debate going!!!

I do ride the bike on the street and not at the track but I dont go 900 mph around hair pin turns so extra braking is not needed. Before
I put the fat tire on the bike it was lighter with 17 inch wheels and was less stable and handled worse then it is now!

It also looked like a tricycle next to all other bikes except sportbikes [its agood combo now I wish it was lighter and more cost effective to do but its not] I thought about putting another rotor on the front but there is really no need.
I use both the front and the rear brakes at the same time and it stops the bike just fine.

The bike is fun to ride still is very fast and gets tons of attention.

There seem to be a bunch of them that have fat tires and a single brake up front that must be off the mark including a few with blowers and NOS!

I can pull up pages of them if you want?
