Well done. Keep it below 5000rpm until you get accustomed to it.

Or try it in 2nd gear or 3rd gear, but in first gear, the front wheel will probably come-up, if you grab a handful of throttle at 5000 rpm and you don't back-off.

pages 5-13 to 5-15, that's chapter 5, page 13 to page 15 has service info on VBoost.

7-59 is the VBoost electrical system diagram, that's chapter 7 page 59, and it goes on from there.

A picture of the RPM range for VBoost. You can see it begins at 5750 RPM, and is fully-open at 8000 RPM.
