Hi all

I wonder where I can find the connection for the CPS sensor on a 2010 VMAX.
I get some errorcode 12 and people say it probably are some bad connection and that needs to be cleaned up. But I dont know wich one and where it is located.
Hope someone can tell me thanks

I would look at a wiring diagram and follow along with each connector that is in common with that sensor. Pull each one and inspect the condition of each pin.

The crankshaft position sensor is behind the stator under the left side crank cover. There is also a coupler somewhere near the gas tank.

Here is the manual. Open it in adobe and do a search for "crankshaft position sensor" and scroll through the results.

Thanks for all help.
Seems something bad is going to happen now if it is that sensor I dont know.
A few times when I try start, it just clicks but I found out by accident if I have it in gear and rock the bike just some forward/reverse it starts immidiately?
Can this still be the sensor?

By the way I have printed and bind the manual myself but thanks for the link anyway "Itgoes"
