Damn Tim!!,
I haven't been here regularly lately. Bummed to find this post. Hope things work out for you! Keep us in the loop.

Good luck to you Tim. Maybe get a 2nd or 3rd opinion as to the best option?

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers - that stuff is scary!

I recommend doing some research on the best surgeons in your area if you haven't already. We didn't realize we could do that when my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor. We ended up finding a top surgeon within 6 hours of us, and that hospital got dad's insurance company to approve surgery with him instead. It made all the difference having someone perform it that does it 15 times a week rather than 15 times a year. Hang in there - you have a big cheering section here!

How old is he? It's good you told him. He probably needs time to process the information. That's quite a severe wake up call. I'm sure he'll have a bunch of questions for you over the next few days.

He just turned 15 the other day . Man time fly's !

Thank you everyone for all of the support ! ...... Me and my son have been going away almost every weekend to the drag races , 2 weeks ago we were away for 5 day's and now just a few local races over the summer now until it all starts up again in the fall . . . So now when I'm just getting back into a normal routine last night my ******* central air takes a **** !
It's always something !:bang head::bang head::bang head:

I don't go back to the Cardiologist until June 5th , in the meantime the meds are killing me !

Find and go to a first class hospital that specializes in your issue . As has been said , we here in the northeast have the best hospitals and care in the world . Check with your care givers down there and see if they can hook you up with a major hospital up here...or at least open up a line of communication with a specialist ...good luck .

WTF Tim. You got Cleveland Clinic on that side of the state. Thats where I’d be going. Cant wait to hear from you after you get the Sx and feeling better. You aint heard from me in forever cause I got a replacement kidney ! Stay strong !

You are entitled to a second opinion with most insurance companies. Call them and ask if the MAYO CLINIC is on their list of approved providers , and if so GO THERE !!!
GOOD LUCK MY BROTHER :punk:

Went to the Cardiologist last Wednesday , to the Hospital Thursday , then the Heart Surgeon on Friday .

I need OPEN HEART SURGERY , the Surgeon said that the Aneurysm is very risky surgery by itself , but with the birth defects I have they would at least have to replace one of my bad valves , and that alone is also risky so both together is very risky !
So after an hour and a half of talking , he’s going to monitor it for now .
Just before it gets to 5 centimeters I will need surgery .
It’s just over 4.8 now . He said it might be a year or so .
In the mean time , the side effects of all the medication I’m on is killing me !

NEEDLESS TO SAY , I’M NOT SLEEPING TO MUCH LATELY !

My God Tim, that's horrible news. Stay strong and I'm praying for the best for you.

Hang in there broseph! Prayers your way!

Mark
