Man I always liked the Harley Fat Bob. What's wrong with the dyna chassis and evolution engine? Seems like it'd be nice to have a sixth gear on the highway.

The FXR frame is 5 times stiffer than the Dyna chassis.......there was no 6 speed transmission stock with an evolution engine.....

I don't know if Danny would let an old Harley dirty up his driveway:confused2:

Yer always welcome at the BR Kyle....even if you're riding a greasy ol' oil drippin' Harley!! :rofl_200:

Good luck man, she's a beauty....hope it works out for you! :punk:

:hmmm: Although I'm the only one that will have been to Danny's stronghold. They don't know the secret signal to get past the guard towers either!:th_biggun:

Well, as you know Brian, last year was pretty simple....just stop at the pre-arrainged spot and yell at the top of your voice...."COPRUNNER, don't shoot!!"

We're gonna ramp it up a little this year, add some excitement and challenge....I'll send you the secret signal by bonded courier....like before!! :rofl_200:

hey kyle, did you try selling the max private? might be able to get a little more for her.

brian i did a ride last year from toronto area thru thousand island and onwards to BRC, nice ride way better then the route ive done a few times on 89 way boring. then went home thru lake placid and thru valleyfield, real nice only part sux is the road signs, not very well marked out and oh ya the temp was right at freezing, not fun at 65mph.

I was thinking about seeing if our group would want to ride the more direct route by going through Lake Placid but not sure about the temps at that time of year. I'll see what Jim, Mike and Trevor want to do but I'm sure it would be much prettier scenery. I dropped in on some the roads along the route on Google maps and the roads look great. From Ogdensburg the route might be Hwy 68 to 56 to 3 to 30 to 73 then onto Interstate 87 S. I guess we could always make the call on Friday morning on which way to go according to how the weather is. Mike and I will be coming down from Sudbury past Ottawa on the Trans Canada Hwy (17) on Thursday.

Redbone......there is liable to still be snow in some spots on that route.....

I personally can relate with Kaboom about wanting my dream bike. I've had bikes my whole life. More recently, I went a several years without a bike due to "life situations". I had decided that if I never had another bike, that would be fine, with one exception. My dream bike.

This just happens to be my dream bike.

Only a HD gets worse as time goes on.

You'll have to work on it constantly, but as you said it's about as complex as a lawnmower so it's not particularly hard.

BR11 keeps getting more intriguing by the day. By the end of it I imagine there will be a yard-sale of vmaxes and VMFers sprawled out across the driveway from v-boost related shenanigans and/or brownie overdose.

Brian, there's some back tracking with your route....you would be better off to pick up 30S in Tupper Lk and stay on it to I-90 just south of Amsterdam. As Kaboom said....real good chance of seeing snow banks along the way, maybe on the shoulders or in the woods, dress warm!

I thought the snow might be the problem so we'll probably go with Danny suggested route. I would rather just make a beeline to the motel to check-in/ stash gear then head on to Danny's. I don't want to end up checking in late and waking up the owners of the hotel like I did last year.
Lot more fun stuff and great people to see at Danny's anyways!:worthy::eusa_dance::clapping::punk::thumbs up:
