Is this normal for the bike idle to drop down when taken off center stand? Even when warming the max up on choke at about 2g when I take it off the stand it drops to about 1200 rpm. :confused2:

That's just your bikes' way of telling you it's ready to go ride?

Mine doesn't change idle speeds when dropping off its' center stand.

Maybe your float levels are wrong and it's sloshing over?

This is a very strange problem. Shouldn't matter whether it's on the side stand, center stand or straight up. I don't have a clue but I've seen weird things with these Max's so I believe every word....

That's not right. Is your rear wheel spinning while idling on the stand?

Or, something's not routed right, and gets squished once of the stand.

The wheel is not spinning. Checked everything I can think of so far and can't find anything out of place. I even referred to the manual to see all the routings they all look good. :bang head: Well tomorrow is another day! Maybe others will have some suggestions.

not normal not good. with the bike off, when you turn the throttle does it snap back shut? you should here it. might be a cable snagged or chaffed. try running the bike with the handle bars turned full to the right then do it again, on/off stand, does it still do it???maybe carbs not sitting on the stops all the way and twist cable when you stand it up, maybe.
