integrated tail lights?

i used the search and couldnt find anything....anyone know where i can get integrated turn signals that flash in my rear brake light? lot of sport bikes run them, but i havent seen any for vmaxes...tired of those hideous turn signals hanging 10 feet off the sides of my bike

going to look into putting turn signals in my scoops for the front, and maybe bar end mirrors or something, not sure on the mirrors yet

I know Hubeerjw built a rear tail light assembly and used a light which had a red center brake light and orange outer turn indicators all built into a pretty sleek cats eye design. Check with him.

Otherwise clear alternatives doesn't make something like that for our bikes.

I have their tail light on my SV1000S with integrated indicators.

The OEM vmax light is a two bulb setup and should allow for the integrated setup just like the sportbike. Never bothered installing one but you could get about any intergrater kit and use it.

I even have another stainless steel bracket already laser cut if you want it. The taillight was from V-Twin and was around $80 if I remember correctly. Do a search for CatEye (or Cat Eye) taillights and you might find it.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Oh, and since it is LED, you will need to resistor it otherwise the blinkers flash quickly.

This is what I use which also includes flashers. I'm also using aftermarket flashers in place of the stock ones in conjunction with this unit.
I had to install some 10k resistors to make it all flash at the correct rate.
The tail light/ flasher/brake light was about $29 from Egay.

The reason you see the cateye is because it fits into the stock fender the best. Have you thought about putting on an R1 rear fender? :ummm:
