It was difficult installing the new rear ME880...

Hi all,

It was time to replace the rear tire so I opted for the Fat look. Got the "Marathon" ME880 170/80-15. I ordered a Metzler, got a Marathon. Metlzer must be owned by Marathon now or something. Whatever, same tire.

Hey Ric,

Just so you know the "marathon" is the model name for Metzeler's ME880. Like you I didn't have trouble at all getting the tire in. I put mine in fully aired and only bent the license plate a little.

i put a 180/55/18 metzler on and i "did" have to let the air out but hey like the man says "air is free" !!!!

Wait till you have to put a 190 on. You have to take off the rear diff and install the diff and tire at the same time,
