Meeting Saturday July 24th at Iron Pony in Columbus. This is a huge motorcycle bazzar with garb, gear and toys. There is plenty of dedicated motorcycle parking.

Riding out at 11:00 for Margaritaville in Sandusky which also has dedicated parking for motorcycles. The food is pretty decent and the spot along the river gets some jet ski traffic coming up from the lake.

It is a bit over a hundred miles so one gas stop in Bucyrus will get everyone there.

If you're in Sandusky, you gotta spend the day at Cedar Point Amusement Park! I'm from NE Ohio (Canton-Akron) and Cedar Point was the trip we looked forward to all year long.

The VMAX is not built for the race track, it belongs at the drag strip. The ride at Cedar Point that captures the sensation is the Top Thrill Dragster. Zero to 120 MPH in 3.8 seconds,

The video does not do it justice. The camera is mounted too well and does not give you the sense of how the body snaps when the mag drive launches you down the track.

Is this June or July as I see it was posted yesterday? I'll definitely try to get the day off if I haven't missed it already.

When I lived in Michigan, every year my daughters would have a Field trip to Cedar Point, great times, will never forget them, one year, rode my 86 Yamaha Radian there, last year I went to Cedar Point before moving to Arizona in 07

We started going to Cedar Point around 1967. The Blue Streak roller coaster was the big thing, but I was more into Frontier Town, the paddlewheel steamboat and Jungle Larry's show. We would go every year even if the folks had a scheduled two-week vacation (Florida vacation in a RV or a houseboat on Lake Cumberland). Pretty sure it rained every Cedar Point day.... I think the last time I was there was 1982 before joining the Navy.

Not sure if this ride actually happened or not, but we ended up being able to go and had hoped to meet everyone up there, but had to move on around 1:30. Hopefully next time..

Sorry to have missed you. The Columbus contingent was "thin" but Iron Pony was packed. There were multiple motorcycle groups using it as a Rally Point and then heading out. Lets pick a date for the next one.
