I can't ride coz the weather is just crazy out. Its usually getting pretty nice here this time of year but not this year. So what do ya do?
Tear into those carbs!!!! I was groov'n along into this dis-assembly when I realized I haven't even ridden since the last time I was in here. Oh well, good practice right? Besides I had a night mare the other night about one of my float heights being off. So I had to check right? Anyway...I got to think'n about how fun it would be to have a friend video me take'n them apart, inspecting, cleaning adjusting and re-assemble. I can guarantee two things...it would be informative and most importantly, entertaining. Probably be laughing to hard through the whole thing.
As some of you may have picked up on...I'm a smart ass. In a good way.
I'm pretty anal about what tools, cleaning supplies and measurements I use but I wonder if someone would critique me though....Never know.

Kenny, is that the kitchen table you have the carb spread out on? You look like my kind of mechanic. Just a plug for anyone considering doing a video. The more I see the more confident I am becoming at the various tasks. Sean has several out, Damon F has a good one and he promises to follow up with another! So in a nushell, Make Them Videos! Even if we learn what NOT to do, they are still helpful.

Look at the eagle eye on you! It IS the kitchen counter. LOL My wife is mixing up cookies right next to me...I KID!!!:eusa_dance:

No seriously, I do eat, relax, and sometimes sleep in my shop, and when I'm not there...I'm here tearing these down.

Hey I'm sorry but that carb isn't sitting straight on the worktop! And the diaphragm is getting squashed on one side being put down like that. Oh no! :rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200:

Come to NJ and rebuild mine I have all the tools and can even offer to tape you! :biglaugh:

Man, I'd love to. Probably have better weather than here. Split a ticket? Better yet just send them to me and I'll shape'm up for nothing.

And "G" man...You passed! That was a test to see if anyone was paying attention. :biglaugh:

Do you really use the Silicone lube? I had some stuff like that for gun cleaning and lubing and didnt like it. Seemed to gum things up.

Vmaxcruzer......you are a BAD mechanic.......BADBADBAD!!!!!!:damn angry:

There is not a BIG F*&%$#* HAMMER anywhere in the picture:biglaugh:
