So what's considered high KM's for a vmax?
When do they start experiencing some age related woes?

Mine is an '89 with 70,000 miles. I can still keep up with Frank's '99. lol

Bill Seward may have 120,000 miles but he's known to fudge that a bit. lol

120,000 is about as high as i've heard about (one of the guys on here). We had a 96,000 mile venture we converted that ran very well.

On the flip side, we've rebuilt engines with less then a 1000 miles on them. It's all about how the bike is ridden. Maintenance helps for the really long term guys but it really makes no difference for us that are hard on the bikes.

Big thing IMO opinion is not how many miles but the age of the bike in general. My 85 has had a good amount of electrical problems because the bike most likely sat outside somewhere for a LONG time. It's all good now but I would be looking for something in the late 90's or newer.

The older the bike the more owners it usually had and the harder it is to determine who took care of it properly.
