A fluid change won't hurt anything. Make sure the fluid is not too full as this can cause problems. May need to turn idle up a bit. Noises are hard to diagnose for sure. The lower r's could be congtributing too.

Sean

I will double check the fluid level. My idle is set around 1200 rpms currently.
I would have also thought that the lower revs were the cause for increased noise, however, the whining noise is in all gears and not just 5th gear. And the speed/pitch of it increases in conjunction with RPMs. I'm thinking that it may have been there before and for some strange reason got louder after I split the cases apart and replaced stuff. Who knows. As long as it keeps running right, I won't worry much about it.

kozy. putting mine into N is really hard as well. blipping the throttle allows me to do it very easily, is yours hard even after blipping?

I also cant tell that im finding neutral very easly.

From 2nd in goes very easy and smoth but from 1st somethimes its dificult but not dramatic. But i've chenged some things in my gearbox and shifting is little harder now. No biggie.
Also my gearbox is quite noisy now, pressing the clutch lever helps a lot with noise.
Well, if only can be said that vmax engines are not noisy but they're not.

Someday i've noticed that is almost imposible to find neutral when you have
wrong bleeded clutch or, anything wrong with the clutch will couse it.
Then better clutch works then more easliy to find N.
