I lived in San diego back in 1980 and everybody was lane splitting even then and I never knew of anyone that got a ticket for it. What's the big deal?

I think it's crazy due to how much traffic there is. But then again if you can get comfortable with it.. I doubt I would, then again I hate traffic. One more reason I wouldn't live in CA.... I grew up in Wyoming, very little traffic except near Stugis time when everyone was going to Yellowstone also...My home town had 1 stop light...lol

Its fine in Europe, but you still see people in cages get all bent out of shape. Just like in Michigan, when there is a closure in a lane, people can't just merge, you always get one ******* that has to be the policing person and puts his car half way in the lane to block people. Like they are the designated *******.

I think it would be fine "IF" people accept it. How many times do you see people swerve to stop you from passing them? I see it here often.

I just choose to not ride in heavy traffic if I can help it. Even in a cage, I try to avoid it. People are just too stupid when they get stuck in traffic.

California should be working on more important items...such as water conservation , over-taxation , wasteful spending and goggles for ****stars...:worthy:

Traffic in Europe is way better than here in the states, especially CA. Hell I maybe go up to DC once a year due to I hate it.. I lived in Germany for 2 years, I hated the way people drove here in the US after being over there.. People actually pay attention to the rules of the road, and are curtious...I just got lots of parking tickets, damn signs were a pain to try and read...lol
