Thank you Kyle, ill give that a go.Take them off & use aircraft stripper to get all the old clear off &n then sand any oxidation out & polish with Mothers or Wenol or any other good aluminum polish
Nope I use my little 3 inch air buffer.lol+1 on that Mother's, question is LOL do ya have the elbow grease?
Have U ever used sharkhide coating. It works pretty good. Keeps the oxidation/aluminum rust to a minimum. But if you're going to polish it to a mirror finish you better off just getting it clear powder coated.Raw aluminum polishes up nicely but will tarnish quickly after the clear coat is removed.
Ask me how I know, I spent about 3hrs polishing each wheel. I was spending almost an hour trying to keep them clean every time I wash my truck. So I ended up having them powder coated clear.Have U ever used sharkhide coating. It works pretty good. Keeps the oxidation/aluminum rust to a minimum.
