In my experience having a passenger requires a whole-'nother mindset, as the bike (well, mine, anyways) wheelies repeatedly in multiple gears, if I am enthusiastic w/the throttle. The 'way-back position of the mod you're showing is well-crafted but if it was my bike, the backwards-lean would mean not much wear for my front tire. I think the stock sissybar has a good position for lots of support of a passenger, and looks to be less of an angle than what you came up with.
