MotoGP 2019 (Spoiler alert: results posted )

The 2019 MotoGP season kicks off tomorrow and Yamaha has Pole position! It may not be who you think is on pole if you were assuming it was Valentino, no sir, this year it's Maverick who will start from pole position. Maverick Vinales has been routinely out pacing Valentino this preseason while Rossi has not been a front runner.. This year Vinales has the bit between his teeth showing the speed he has shown in streaks for the last two seasons. Rossi will start in 14th, just ahead of his old teammate Lorenzo.
Honda has a formible lineup this season in last years champion Marc Marquez and 3 time champion Jorge Lorenzo. They will be tough on race day this whole season although Lorenzo is starting the season a little beat up from a winter testing wrist injury crashed in practice and qualifying will start in 15th while Marquez will start from 3rd.
It should be a interesting race since it's the first of the season but I will be looking for a strong race from Yamaha with Vinales leading from pole and Valentino Rossi charging through the field!

Alas, no joy for the Yamaha boys. Maverick still hasn't moved past his old habits of not having the race pace finishing a disappointing , while Valentino proved is the better rider on Sunday by finishing 5th. Dovizioso rode a error free race and in the end beat Marquez to the finish line. The Yamaha's don't have the speed for yet another race, down some 5-7 mph on top speed during the race, Honda's and Ducatic's are fast. The Suzuki's showed a lot of grunt through and out of the corners but in the end ran out tires.
