You don’t need to be an ex-500 GP rider to smoke up the VMAX though – as it’ll do it in the first three gears easily.

It was a quote from that article dude! ha ha... and no he had no numeric evidence either....but the yamaha engineer said it does low sub 10 sec times..... but between you me and the lamp post....any bike that can burn its tire in 3rd gear has got to be doing some serious times......

What I like is the video of the guy lighting up the rear tire exiting corners. The thing must have craploads of power all over the rev range!

Yeah well I can spin my tire in first 3 gears, and my VMAX is quicker than the ZX14 B-King, Hayabusa but not very far in distance, but we are talking about quickness. I have seen 220KM/h and yes my VMAX will smoke the shit out of the rear tire!!
But I hate to tell you that my VMAX is a slow turd on the track and I get spanked by the above mentioned bikes. You guys are a piece of work and fall right into as what the media wants you to believe... THERE IS A REASON WHY THEY HAVENT POSTED 1/4 Mile TIMES>>> WAKE UP !!!!

i will wake up now... all the stuff i read about the new bike is a lie....just to make me buy it... when i get it i will be so sorry... yup...

but those same "media" sources didn't lie about the busa or the 14.... gosh im so confused now....

Thats right! and since ive been waked from my media addiction i now know that the media only lies about yamaha products....still not sure why....but im sure someone will tell me....

Boy you know, i dont know what we are all so proud about here...we are a disgrace....dummys.... we should take down this site and stop all this talk.

Sometimes when i lie awake at night...i wonder about it all... i can almost just remember....there was this time before the busa was around....we were all lost....no one knew anything....the media lied and lied and lied.

it really is a miricle how the busa saved mankind......big motor, light weight, aero body....gosh how did they ever think of those things.....and who knew it would make you go fast?? gosh thats brilliant.....why, i bet that only things that look like a busa can be fast?.....

a little off topic guysff topic sign:. since you braought it up lets consider some things. the busa is a great piece of engineering but lets face it, it is ugly :eusa_snooty:not as bad as the first gen but still and also about half the people who have one had hardly ever ridden before posers:hmmm: [apologies to those who dont fall into this category] but it is a great engine just like the gs1100e was but it si not unbeatable honda and yamaha for certain could build faster bikes with less displacement ala the motogpunk: bikes so lets not make the busa out as god ok. we all loved the old vmax though it could never be modded as much as some others do to obvious limitations:damn angry: [shaft v4 ...] it is still fast fun and unique:eusa_dance: and the new could be the same[ i hope ] type of bike too a new generation so lets remember , we love the max ! i have since i first saw one in 1984, so lets see what the new one will do:eusa_dance:

I'll bet my 1974 Suzuki TS185 is faster than the new Max. Nothing could ever beat a Suzuki, EVER! If the media says different then they are liars! :biglaugh:
